Anyone who has explored the Belvedere in Vienna should indeed venture to the Neue Galerie before this exhibition closes at the end of August. It spurred me to explore, not only the relationship between Expressionists and Fashion Design, but also the work of early 20th Century Surrealist Fashion Designer Elsa Schiaparelli and the extension of various “isms” into today’s design principles.
